Hï Ibiza residents dominate the 2025 EDM Awards

Hï Ibiza resident DJs are the big winners this year; trailblazing artists who have won in almost every category. MEDUZA, HUGEL, James Hype and Dom Dolla are among those who took home accolades.

The EDMA (Electronic Dance Music Awards) are fan-voted, and an important checkpoint in the electronic music industry’s calendar. Each year the event champions the most exciting and innovative DJs and producers in the world today.

Dom Dolla won the Tech House Artist of the Year award, while his smash hit “girl$” won Song of The Year. This encapsulates the Australian producer’s signature high-energy house, which he’ll be spinning all summer long at his all-new Wednesday residency at Hï Ibiza from 2nd July to 3rd Sept.

MEDUZA took home the Dance Song Of The Year award for “Another World”, their anthemic collaboration with the GRAMMY-nominated singer HAYLA. The Italian trio are raising the roof at Hï Ibiza with their OUR HOUSE residency, Mondays from 16th June to 29th September.

OUR HOUSE co-creator, James Hype, also won big at the EDMAs. The Favourite Club Track award went to his 2024 song “Wild”, an undeniable dancefloor weapon.

“Andalucia” by HUGEL rightfully won Afro-House Song of the Year. His collaboration with GROSSOMODDO showcases his ability to draw on eclectic influences and crystalise them into his own unique sound.

HUGEL also took home the Best Collaboration award for his link-up with Diplo and Julia Church. The track is called “Stay High”, and it’s easy to see why it won. He’s taking over Thursdays from 26th June to 18th September.

Lastly, the Cassian remix of “Shiver” by John Summit and HAYLA was crowned the Best Remix. John Summit will be taking the reins at Hï Ibiza on 20th and 27th of June 2025 for two special Experts Only Friday shows.
