Last week our friends at DJ Mag invited us to take over their London HQ
Our pre-season party was streamed live and direct on the DJ Mag YouTube channel. To provide the vibes, we invited trailblazing Italian production trio Meduza to showcase their signature sound, which has gripped electronic music fans the world over.
Their stratospheric rise since 2019 breakout hit "Piece of Your Heart" has been one of the most talked about phenomenons in electronic music. Meduza did not disappoint, getting the crowd at DJ Mag HQ going with their blistering techno selections and proving why they have been one of the most in-demand acts in recent years.
In a set that ran the gamut from low key groovers to fist pumping techno, Meduza crammed in a tonne of unreleased goodness, bolstered by some crowd-favourites such as “Paradise” and “Lose Control”.
One of the biggest reactions was for “Everything You Have Done” (Meduza Edit) by Genesi. The energetic assault from the Italian newcomer is the first release on Meduza's new label, Aeterna Recordings, which after just four days, has topped the Beatport charts.
The new label will serve as an output for Meduza to experiment with their signature sounds through the lens of the club and share music from their favourite emerging talents and if “Everything You Have Done” is anything to go by, the future is looking very bright for this label.
Meduza will join us as Club Room residents on Friday night for David Guetta and Morten present Future Rave. The trio are behind some of the biggest club crossover hits of recent years, including “Piece of your Heart”, “Lose Control”, and “Paradise”.
